The BVLOS proposal was published on August 7, 2025. On January 28, 2026 the FAA reopened its comment period, to February 11, 2026, for comments on electronic conspicuity and right-of-way. Some commenters asked for that reopened window to be extended. This notice denies those requests.

It does not propose any new BVLOS rules. It does not amend Part 107. It does not change any operational requirement for remote pilots. It does not summarize or restate the contents of the original BVLOS NPRM. It is a two-sentence procedural action: extension denied, period.
