When did you last pass the initial knowledge test or complete FAA recurrent training?

How it is worked out

To act as remote pilot in command you must have passed the initial knowledge test, or completed recurrent training, within the previous 24 calendar months (§107.65). Calendar months run to the end of the month, so training completed any day in March 2025 keeps you current through March 31, 2027.

Recurrent training is the FAA’s free online course; you do not retake the test at a testing centre. Keep the completion certificate with your remote pilot certificate. Our recurrent training guide →
